So long, Tweety...

An article recently appeared on the KSWO site, announcing the last flight of the T-37 Jet Trainer at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. The T-6 Primary Trainer will replace the T-37, with the first T-6 arriving at Sheppard in January of 2008.

We had the priviledge of seeing "Tweety Bird" (as the T-37 was often called) at several air shows--below, we photographed the T-37 at the 2006 air show at NAS Oceana.
