Farewell, Tomcat

Despite rumors of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes breaking up, I am not referring to that Tomcat. Today, an article appeared in USA Today, announcing the Navy F-14 Tomcat's final mission, which was completed on February 8th.

My husband and I were fortunate to have seen one of the Tomcat's last airshow demonstrations, last year, at the NAS Oceana Airshow. I have pictures which I will post later this weekend, as a tribute to the Tomcat's final mission.

Farewell, Tomcat... You served your country well.
